"I'm gonna be a BIG Sister"
Whoooooohoooooo! I am having numero dos! We are absolutely elated! I am only 8 weeks but I saw the heart beat last week and had to share the news with my family while we were visiting in AZ! And as you may not be able to tell by the video, Reagan is excited to soon be a big sister!

After checking out our blog for the first time and then checking out the links of our friends Brock, in true Brock fashion, had this comment. "Although all our kids friends are great I have seen enough pics of them and really just want to see pics of my friends and who got fat after college." So here is a pic of Brock just so he can show what he's been up to after college....just hanging out at Disneyland, still acting like a 12 year old.

What can I say, I'm a slave driver. I just have to take advantage of the few years she actually wants to do chores. In case you're wondering, we are mopping the floor. I know you're probably asking, "Where's the mop?" This like all my crazy sayings, I got from my mom. It works great and you get a great work out at the same time.
Swimming is probably one of our favorite things to do as a family. Here is Reagan last week practicing with Daddy! In a couple of weeks Reagan starts her first swim class without me being in the water with her. Both she and her cousin Paije are going to take the class together when she comes to stay for the summer!
It's official....I think. Reagan is now potty trained. She has gone 5 days now wearing "undies" all day without one single mishap! Monday the 2nd of June 2008 will always hold a dear place in my heart. While outside Brock and I were watching Reagan ride her bike when she stopped and said "Mommy, I be right back" we watched as she ran around the corner and into the house. Could it be? No, I don't believe it. When we got inside we found Reagan sitting on her potty chair going potty! Wow, was I proud. It's amazing. we no longer have to sit with her for 20 mins. and ask her to go to the bathroom like in this video. (I hope she doesn't hate us for life when she sees that we exposed her "pushing one out") I just thought it was too funny how arduous it was for her. Anyway, now Reagan just runs in the bathroom when she needs to go. Sometimes I don't even know she's gone until I hear the clanking of the M&M jar where she carefully counts out three for her reward. I do want to add that I never thought I'd see this day. It took about 2 months of sitting next to her on the potty playing games, doing puzzles, reading books, doing flash cards just to get her to stay seated. Just days before the blessed event, my first day trying to go out in public without a diaper, she had a pretty successful first half of the day. We had two birthday parties to go to and the first one was a success but the second party at a different park didn't have a public bathroom. I brought the potty with us and put it under a tree far from everyone. She wouldn't have anything to do with it. It was a pool party and there was no way she was getting out of that pool to freeze and sit on the pot. Needles to say, right before we were about to leave I hear Reagan yelling "Moommy poo poo"! as poo is running down her leg into the grass in the middle of the party. Yeah, I was the mom of THAT kid. The one who poos in the middle of a birthday party.

Luckily it cleared up a little in the afternoon and we were able to go to the pool for an hour or so. Make sure not to miss my "Martha Washington hair". Brock always makes me do it for friends. I think he thinks it's funnier than it really is.
