The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

FHE at the Pumpkin Patch

Me and my best girl

My baby is growing up!Reagan's first Halloween. Wow, time flies! I wish she'd stay little forever!

Halloween fun with the "Moop" girls
Why, hello there!
It took a little coaxing to get Reagan up on her "horse". She made sure she could get on the white one and then finally agreed to it.
Reagan and her buddy Ike
Reagan is having the time of her life. There is nothing greater than having someone to chase her, especially if it's daddy.
Good 'ol Daddy! Always up for fun. I've gotten to the point in my pregnancy where I've become boring compared to daddy b/c I have to tell Reagan that my belly is too big to carry her a lot. I've had some back pains too and I must be using this excuse and others all too much b/c now when Reagan doesn't want to do something she says, "Mommy I can't walk to the car by myself my belly is too big." She even told me the other night that she couldn't finish her broccoli b/c her back hurts. She went over to the freezer and said, "Mommy can you get me your ice pack please?"

Halloween Party at the Lombardi's

Reagan is making her first gingerbread man or "scary house" as she calls it.
What better way to celebrate Halloween than mixing in a little left over 4th of July fireworks. The kids were loving it!

Santa Ana Zoo

At the Santa Ana Zoo with the Blads.

These monkeys were so cool. They made the craziest sounds. You could hear them clear across the Zoo.

I am a Child of God

This is definitely Reagan's favorite song. Her obsession for is has gotten so bad that we have to listen to it over and over in the car, mind you there are 50 other songs on the CD. And when we get in dad's car she always tells me "No mom. We have to go in your car. Daddy doesn't have Child of God"(we only have the CD in my car). So the other day after the tenth time of having to sing the song with Reagan, Brock says to Reagan, "Why don't you try to sing it by yourself". I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when she actually did it. She should know it by now, after all of that, but we were still shocked and definitely almost in tears!!!

1, 2, 3...

You can tell we play hide and seek a lot. Reagan seems to only associate counting to ten with playing hide and seek, as demonstrated by the closing of the eyes while counting. Either that or she was hoping her dinner would hide so that she didn't have to finish eating it.

Halloween Preview

Getting ready for Halloween this year has been so much fun. Reagan is soooo excited. It's been a lot of fun decorating the house, looking at decorations around the neighborhood and making fun Halloween projects. She loves to tell everyone that asks and doesn't ask that she is going to be a princess for Halloween. We even have knocked on all the doors in our house and have had a few mock "trick-or-treat" run throughs. I think she's got it down. She can't wait to fill her pumpkin pail full of candy. She even had to put on her costume the other day to give it a dry run. I think she's ready!

Preschool

Reagan is showing off her Halloween project.
As you can see Reagan is taking quite well to preschool. Who wouldn't when you can play as much play-doh as you want?

Bucking Bronco

How lucky is Reagan...to have such a great daddy who will play with her to her heart's content. Most mornings before work Reagan begs for some last minute fun. Here's one of her favs.
