The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

What we've been up to...

A much over due girls trip! My college buds Amy Gant, Tennille Smith, & Jen Sumner (we missed our bud Alison bc she's ripe with child) hit the road and we spent the weekend at this fabulous resort in Palm Springs. It was amazing. But really we could have gone anywhere as long at we were unencumbered and free to talk as long as we wanted. How great to sleep in and stay up late to watch movies. Going out to eat and not have to order my meal based on what Reagan could share with me, lay out at the pool, read, swim, was fabulous!! Just to be able to sit and talk for hours and catch up on our lives and laugh and laugh about all the crazy things we did in college was priceless.
Amy is taking up a new hobby, photography, she was trying out some shots on us. It was fun to pretend like we were young again and do some crazy model poses. Jen and Tennille know all the lingo from America's Next Model so we were trying it all out.
Reagan's fort made by daddio. And of course Reagan had to have all her stories read to her in her new little house.
I thought this was funny bc I didn't know where it came from or what was in Reagan's mouth. The crazy things Dad and Ragu do while I'm away. I finally realized what's in her mouth today bc she did the same thing when I gave her some string cheese for lunch. Who knew string cheese could be so fun and so delicious all at once?

I thought it would be cute to see if Easton would sit on this chair for a picture and then Reagan said "OK mommy my turn" So as you can see in the picture below she sat in the chair and posed for her own picture.

Happy Memorial Day. This is the only picture I remembered to take of the day but it's pretty accurate when describing our day b/c I think Reagan only left the jumper once to eat a plate full of watermelon and then she was back to it again. We had a ward picnic at Lake Park. We had loads of fun but then it was funny bc we were sitting with a group of friends who all have kids and I think there were about 10 baby car seats in our section and then at about 1:00 the whole section cleared bc we had to all be back home for naps....that's our life. It's a love hate relationship that I have with naps! It's hard to work around them if we want to go anywhere but what a joy it is to have my kids down so I can actually sit down and not have anyone yapping in my ear for a bit.....ahhhh the sweet sound of silence!

I can't believe how big my kids are getting.

Reagan asks me to play Play-doh with her daily. We probably played for an hour today and I think I had more fun than she did.

Reagan thinks it's the neatest thing to have Easton lay with her in her bed. So we have to do this at least once daily.
