The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

Life with Easton

Every day has to include Reagan holding Easton every chance she can get!

This was our first outing with Easton. We thought what better place than the beach for his first night out. Brock ran with the "double wide" and I rode my bike next to him.

Brock was really getting his workout now.

This was the most amazing night. I can't believe it's January! It was so warm.

Brock was letting me sleep longer so he had Easton in front of the TV watching Baby Einstein. As you can see he's fast asleep. I don't think he can even see the TV yet but it was funny b/c Reagan grabbed her lounge chair and wanted to sit right next to her baby brother. She never wants to leave his side.

Thanks Meena for coming to help!

Bath time for Easton. Of course it's always a little crazy b/c Reagan always wants to be involoved with everything relating to Easton. Good thing my mom was her to help out. I don't know how were going to do it without three adults here.
Reagan played house, school, mommy, etc. almost every day with Meena (grandma). I would often find my mom on the floor in Reagan's room with a blanket and bottle in her mouth b/c Reagan would make her pretend to be a baby and Reagan (the mommy) would put her down for a nap. Reagan would close the door to her room and hush me b/c meena/baby was taking a nap. Five minutes later Reagan came out of her room with backpack and hat on and told me she was going to school.
My mom was lying in Reagan's bed reading and so Reagan went and grabbed A Marvelous Work and a Wonder and snuggled up right next to her. She's quite advanced for a 2 1/2 yr. old.
Thanks mom for staying home with Easton so we could go out and skateboard with Reagan.

Dancing Queen! January 16th

I have a confession to make.....I was suppose to be induced today, the same day as Reagan's first dance class. Well, I didn't want to miss it so I asked my OBGYN if we could pick another day. I guess I was more excited than even Reagan was to start her first dance class. And that is hard to do since I couldn't get her "ballerina" dress off her for a week straight. Who knew? Christmas could have been a lot cheaper this year if I would have known that was all I needed to get her. I'm surprised I haven't had to take her to the ER for stitches yet. She's probably done over a thousand "swirlies", as she likes to call them, in about two days time. Dizzy!!!

Here we are on our way to class down the street at the City Gym. She did another 20 "swirlies" just on our walk there. Of course she has to be like mom too and couldn't leave without her purse.

I think we were a little over anxious for class. We were the first ones there. We even beat the teacher. At least it gave us plenty of time for warm up. We wouldn't want to pull a hammy on our first day.

Here we are with our dancing buddies; Merredith, Zoe, & Reagan.

Of course Reagan is in the middle of it all. The girl has got to be in the center of attention. I don't know if she gets that from Brock or her uncle CK.

Good thing I brought lunch with us. That dancing really takes it out of you!
