The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

Making Smores with the Blads (April 10, 2009)

Yum! I think Reagan ate hers faster than Luke. And all who know Luke know that's hard to do.
Reagan got this Dora bouncy thing for her bday. The best $6 I ever spent. The kids love it.

Happy Easter

We had an Easter egg hunt outside on our porch. And yes, it only took 5 minutes since it's only 8x8 feet.
All the Ebmeyer grandkids
I started to cry when I saw them all together like this. Funny story though too...We got to AV like 5 minutes before this pic was taken and for some reason Reagan decided she was going to be shy today and wouldn't get in the pic. If you look in the back left corner Reagan is the 3 year old that's 6 feet tall bc Brock had to hold her up and hide behind cousin Callie. My little Buster Brown. He looks like a little boy in this pic not just a baby.
We took lots of professional family pics this day bc all of Brock's 9 bros and sis were together for the first time in forever. His parents also had their homecoming talk in church.
Easton and Brinley Blad. The Blads ventured up to the High D and spent Easter Apple Valley sytyle. They wanted to get a firsthand look at the humungo strawberry shortcake they had been hearing about for so many years.
Brock getting in his yearly baking. He likes to pretend that he has his dad's skills in the kitchen. I wish he did. I guess you have to actually know how to open the fridge by yourself if you want to be a real baker
Karlyn, Reagan, and Laken Bacon
Bunny Smooch
Ryan Blad, Brock and all the boys were playing "3 flies" I decided to get a mellow pic in the mix instead of incriminating them with the pics where they're flat on their faces.
Reagan got hooked up by the Easter Bunny!
Reagan and Luke probably bounced on the tramp for 5 hours that day.

Reagan's Birthday Celebration at "Mommy & Me" preschool

Reagan's teacher, Ms. Jeanette, makes it so special for the kids. They get to bring in a treat to share with the kids, and no it wasn't Wasa crackers. I made them rice crispy treats. They get to pick out a birthday hat to wear and of course Reagan picked the pink hat. Then she lets them stand on the table and everyone sings to her.
Project time!
Painting eggs with shaving cream and food dye...who knew
My little sweet potatoes!
Reagan with a few of her good buddies, Merredith & Luke, sitting at story time
Let's get our stroll on Luke!Ms. Jeanette surprised the kids with an Easter egg hunt after class. They each got to pick up 4 chocolate eggs. Reagan did the funniest thing. I, of course tried to talk her into only eating one and thought it was a great idea when I said, "Won't it be fun to surprise dad and give him an egg when he gets home from work." I could tell by the look on her face she thought I just said the craziest thing ever. Then in an instant she stood up and ran to the other end of the park with her chocolate eggs and hid behind a tree. I just watched her. When I got over there. She had downed the rest of the eggs and said. "Mommy, daddy doesn't want one." I just started laughing and then she started laughing. I just kissed her little chocolate lips off bc she was just so cute.

Daddy are you ever gonna come home? February 23, 2009

Brock took a promotion within J&J and moved over to Medical Device Sales. He now works for Ethicon Endo. We are very happy for him but we weren't happy to have daddy out of town for training for nearly 7 weeks. The time got so long I started to send him pictures so he wouldn't forget us.

Reagan wanted me to send this picture so that daddy knew she was taking good care of his plants for him. (Feb. 28, 2009)

My sweet little chittlins (March 20, 2009)

I was in the other room getting ready to leave for story time and when I came back in the room I saw this...My two little sweeties waiting patiently for me to go.

Little Ragu sure does love her little bro. If she'd fit I bet she'd try to get in Easton's seat and lie next to him.

Brock's family from Germany came to visit (March 21, 2009)

Hanging out on the HB Pier after lunch at Dukes

April 1 st & 2nd, 2009

Reagan wanted to read her story to Easton so I let her give it a whirl. She thought it was the greatest but I don't think he was lovin it.

We went to Duck Park with friends and Reagan thought it was more fun to feed herself than the ducks.

Daddy finally came home! (April 3, 2009)

Daddy asked Reagan what she wanted when he got home from his business trip and her only request was that it be PINK!!! So when you go to Texas what else do you bring home other than a CowGIRL hat....a PINK cowgirl hat. Reagan also requested that they play her three favs...bucking bronco, duck duck goose, and hide and seek.
I think the hat was a hit. Here we are later that day and she had to have her pink hat on.

Kodi and her girls came to visit (April 3, 2009)

Mia, Reagan , & Kail
My Cousin Kodi and our kids at the beach

Daddio and Reagano

The girls were soaked after this...which made for a long walk home
Daddy you're so CRIZZLE!

Reagan is 3 years old! (April 4, 2009)

My baby turned 3

Reagan wanted to have an Olivia party. I did my best. I made pig cupcakes and we played pin the nose on Olivia. I even found her a red and white striped dress like Olivia.

Eating pizza with Jonas
My Boys
Reagan is all down to business when it comes to Easter egg hunts.
It looks like she has her eye on something tasty! Ragu and Elle
Happy Birthday to Reagan!

Chillin with the kids and checking out all our treasures from the hunt
Pin the nose on the Olivia!

Grandma and Grandpa Ebmeyer's Homecoming from Nauvoo (April 5, 2009)

We went up to Apple Valley for the weekend to see G&G Ebmeyer who just got home from their Mission to Nauvoo. We are so glad they are home!
Here we all are watching Conference at G& G Newman's house. Reagan wouldn't leave Megan's side the whole day.
The two new little ones...Easton and Kimball
They were born 3 days a part.
Little EZ

This is how they do it in AV. I like to rip on it but we sure do have a lot of fun. Brock definitely knows how to keep us entertained.
I got roped into a ride too. This was after my ride and wow....DIZZY!
Wee!
Reagan and some of the girlies
Little Easton is getting so big so fast! Why do they have to grow up? (April 6, 2009)

It was a sad day when old trusty died. That was my old stationary bike circa 1980. But really I think it was like 25 years old, but I loved it. I know my neighbors didn't bc you could hear it all through the neighborhood. Brock teased that when I rode it I supplied the neighborhood it's electricity. Any who I finally got an updated bike and I love it...doesn't even make a peep. Reagan has been putting on a few lbs. so I told her to hop on...(JK for family in AV. You probably think I really make her do this.) Anyways, I got a kick out of this when I saw her on it. (April 6, 2009)
