The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

REAGAN

Reagan has always loved drawing and writing. For the past few months she has been writing her name on EVERYTHING! In case anyone was wondering where Reagan lives just go to the house that has REAGAN written all over the courtyard!

Easton's first meal July 5th 2009

and no Ryan....it's not flax seed, spinach, broccoli, salad. Reagan loved feeding Easton but as you can see he wasn't a big fan.

Happy 4th of July 2009

The holiday started off with my sweet friend Nora inviting me over for a festive 4th of July pedicure party. She painted all of our toes with stars and stripes. When I got home Reagan thought it was the coolest so of course she needed some fancy star toes too. I took a picture of both of our toes but I don't know what I was thinking.....like I'm ever going to show a picture of my toes. Fortunately Reagan got lucky and didn't get cursed with my long duck dong toes.
The day started off with the traditional 5k run. Easton's first year!
On your marks!
This year Reagan even ran a bit! Go Ragguzies! Here she comes through the finish line Thumbs up girl!
Time for the parade at the Hixon's house for the big party. Aaron always delivers....a red meat lover's dream come true. Aaron takes BBQing to a whole new level. Thanks Hixon's for another memorable year!
Me and Eastie watching the parade
Buster's first 4th!
Brock's bro Bruce and family joined us in HB

Brock bought some fireworks for the kids so we could have a pre-fireworks showUncle Bru Cru this pic is especially for you! Did you get enough face time on the blog? Thanks for coming out we has a fun 4th with you and your family!!We're on our way to go watch the fireworks at the beach. Brock, you are a trooper! Gotta love those dads! He's packed like a mule and he even has a bum knee.Watching fireworks with our cousins, the Blads, and the Banks

We miss Carter!

Every summer Carter comes to visit our neighbors. We have so much fun with him for the few weeks he's here. He and Reagan are BFFs during this time and can't get enough of each other. It's always sad when he leaves.

Brock pulled Reagan and Carter on the boogie board about 10 times each. They loved it. I love the wipe out at the end. This was one of Reagan's prizes from a friend's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. Reagan kept trying to put them on Easton herself so we finally had to do it for her.

Reagan "reading" to Easton

I thought it was so funny how Reagan thought it was so hilarious when she could get Easton to laugh. The best part about this picture is that Reagan had to be just like daddy when they were planting the flowers. She had to have her running shoes on, gloves, a red shirt, and jeans. If she could have found her hat she would have had that on too. She loves herself some daddy! We were trying to get her to not be so scared of bugs and Brock said she could even have a cookie for breakfast if she would touch a worm but she would have nothing to do with that. Man did she ever want that cookie but she just couldn't get herself to touch the worm.

Happy Father's Day Brock!!

Here we are at Brock's Father's Day breakfast. I was really glad that he requested strawberry crepes this year instead of creamed tuna on toast.
As I was making dinner for Brock's Father's Day I looked over and saw that these two had fallen a sleep. They looked so cute. After checking on Easton and seeing how peaceful he looked I started to think it was Mother's Day bc my sweet little family was fast asleep and it was nice to have a totally quiet home.

Bye Claire and Sierra

Reagan's buddies Claire and Sierra moved away. She is so sad. Here is the last picture I took of them all together. If it's been more than a week that we've seen any of her friends she asks me if they too have moved away. So we go visit her friends just to reassure her that all of her friends have not left her. This was so fun. We got to ride this great little train for Ike's birthday party. Brock was gonna just take Reagan but I wanted to ride it too. It was really fun!!
We finally put Easton in his Bumbo chair. Easton didn't love it so much. He kept trying to back bend out of it. But Reagan thought it was the coolest thing ever. She thought he looked so funny. She laughed uncontrollably for over 5 minutes.
I think Easton has a ways to got before he fits into his new hat.
