The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

Happy Birthday Brock!!!

Brock's only request this year was to go to one of his favorite restaurants, North Woods Inn, I thought he was doing me a favor when we stopped going to "The Sizz" but I had no idea what I was getting myself into...when you walk in you are welcomed by floors full of sawdust. I tell you there is something in the water in Apple Valley that somehow makes you fall in love with the craziest things.

Grandma was teaching Reagan how to play London Bridges. Grandma is chuck full of all those great songs and games. Thanks for teaching Reagan all the classics that I've forgotten about.
I invited the whole Ebmeyer crew to surprise Brock and join us for one of their family favorites but at least a few could make it!! I know the others would have made it if they didn't have so much going on...they're good like that! Thanks G&G Newman and Hugh and Sharon for making my boy's day (and your's) a special one.
Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you!

Meena, Bapa, & Paije came to visit

We love it when Meena, Bapa, & Paije come to visit. Not only do we get to be with family, but it also means lots of swimming at their fun hotel.

Reagan & Paije fell asleep on our way home from Apple Valley.
The three Rogers grand kids. We're a far cry from the Ebmeyer count.....
Reagan is a huge fan of Fancy Nancy. She always has to dress up as the characters in the books she reads. Whether she's watching a movie or reading a book she changes outfits a dozen times a day. But of course it always has to be a dress.
Bath Time is so much more fun now that Easton has joined the "big boy/big girl tub"
We had our "kick off the school year" Primary party. Give Reagan popcorn and a movie and she's putty in your hands. I think Easton is going to follow in her foot steps.

Corn Roast

One of our most favorite ward activities of the year is the annual corn roast. We brought our friend Dax with us. I can't believe they don't have corn all over their faces. They/We all chowed down! Delish!

Birthday party at the beach

A friend of mine took these pics at the beach the other day I thought they turned out really cute.

Poor Reagan is still showing her sad face at me for putting so much sunblock on her face. You could say I'm a sunblock Nazi but that would be an understatement. Brock always gets on my case and says that sunblock is just propaganda. Brock sure does love to make fun of me. I think it's one of his favorite things to do.

They were pretending they were sea monsters after burying Ryan in the sand

It's that time of year again....We love "Mommy and Me and Easton and all our friends Preschool".

Swim Class

On our way to swim classReagan has to push EZ herself....so she tells me.

EZ, "cheering Reagan on".....on the side lines
Megan, Reagan, and Alison
Reagan made some new buddies. She was so bewildered one day when Megan didn't show up for class.
Reagan getting her float on!
Reagan's favorite part of class. You should see her do her fast walk all the way to the block so she can be first in line to go off. Her little buns shimmy side to side.....it's all she can do to keep herself from running.

Babies R' Us

Can you believe the year is only half over and already we have 13 babies born in our ward?!Brinley and Easton

Easton led the crew, being the first one born this year all the way down to the youngest...except the last 4 babies couldn't even fit on the couch so we had to take the pics in shifts....crazy! Don't be drinking our water if you're not ready for a baby.

The power of Elmo!

I thought this was hilarious. Both kids were totally silent and completely entranced by Sesame Street. I think I love Elmo more than they do.

The Wheels are Comin' Off!

Brock took Reagan's training wheels off and is starting to teach her to ride her bike. Today's lesson...."It's ok to fall down!" which she did plenty of. She had a lot of fun. Brock got pretty worn out running up and down the side walk like 40 times....good 'ol dad!

Visiting Claire & Sierra

Reagan's good buddies Claire and Sierra moved away. We went to visit them at their new house.

BBQ

The entertainment consisted of hide and go seek and a special number by Brock, Reagan, and Claire
And what's a BBQ without some smores at the end?
"Bye, see you again next time!"

Off to the farm to see some animals!

Luke was dressed for the occasion. Gotta love the overalls and rain boots!
Now that's some serious nursing!
Little Farmer Joe-E
Reagan the farmer girl. She was pretty scared of the Scare-crows until I showed her they aren't real and have pumpkin heads.
"Kids, here's next years Thanksgiving dinner"
