I am a Child of God
This is definitely Reagan's favorite song. Her obsession for is has gotten so bad that we have to listen to it over and over in the car, mind you there are 50 other songs on the CD. And when we get in dad's car she always tells me "No mom. We have to go in your car. Daddy doesn't have Child of God"(we only have the CD in my car). So the other day after the tenth time of having to sing the song with Reagan, Brock says to Reagan, "Why don't you try to sing it by yourself". I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when she actually did it. She should know it by now, after all of that, but we were still shocked and definitely almost in tears!!!
1, 2, 3...
You can tell we play hide and seek a lot. Reagan seems to only associate counting to ten with playing hide and seek, as demonstrated by the closing of the eyes while counting. Either that or she was hoping her dinner would hide so that she didn't have to finish eating it.

How lucky is Reagan...to have such a great daddy who will play with her to her heart's content. Most mornings before work Reagan begs for some last minute fun. Here's one of her favs.

Our Vacation to The Lawrence Welk Resort in San Diego with all the "oldies but goodies"
After eating the first two pieces of bread herself, Reagan finally caught on to the concept of throwing the bread and actually feeding the fish
Sweet grandma Newman! Reagan had a ball reading all her "stories" with grandma.
Fishing out all the golf balls from the fish pond.
I don't get it but I guess being really dizzy is fun!

Happy Labor Day!
Brent, Courtney, & newest cousin Gavin came to visit
My first day of "Mommy & Me" Preschool!
"Snack Time!" When they announced it was time for snacks Reagan B-lined it to the table and sat down all excited and patient for her snack. She learned quickly in nursery that the first one seated is the first one to get food. She aint no dummy!
The school has so many fun activities for the day. It's great b/c the teacher has all these stations like fishing, little tubs to practice washing babies, painting, playing in birdseed, playing house, project time, reading time, play-doh, blocks and on and on. It's really great b/c I feel like she can explore so many new things without me having to buy all these different things on my own.
I just thought this picture was too cute. It actually made me sad b/c she looks so old here. It was hard enough for me to do this preschool so young, even thought I am there the whole time, but I just can't believe she's old enough to go to "school"We are on our way to our first day of preschool. We had to wake Reagan up b/c preschool starts at 9am. When Brock went to get her our of her crib he told her that we are going to go to preschool and she got sooooo excited she ran in to the kitchen and said "Mommy, I'm going to preschool today!" I said, "yes we are." "Here's your toast for breakfast and she said no mommy, no breakfast we have to go to preschool. Hurry mommy get your shoes, let's go!" Today Brock went with us because I hurt my back. What a great husband. He took the day off and took care of us all day. Preschool is every Thursday for 3 hours. The moms go and we even have a parenting class the last 45 minutes of class. We love it so much. We even get to take it with our good friends the Lucas' and the Holmes'.
