The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

Crap and Randy.....

I just opened up my blog page and saw the baby countdown picture....the baby's head is down. That's where "crap and randy" comes into play. I'm only a few weeks away. At first I had a big smile on my face upon realizing my baby is getting into launching position and then it hit me. He/She is really coming. Wow, things are really going to change around here! Bring on the sleepless nights!!! I'm so excited to have another amazing miracle in our home!

"Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!"

"Yea Dad, that's a good one!"
"mmmm.....Actually, this one smells a little better. I think we should go with this one!" Reagan thinks, at 2 1/2, she's got this Christmas thing down.

Preschool Fieldtrip December 3, 2008

We took a trip to the pottery store and made Christmas ornaments.
Reagan got to put her hand print on her pottery too.

Reagan made lots of Christmas crafts at the park

Our Trip to AZ for Thanksgiving

On our way to AZ Regan was really excited to show us her new trick
Me and my cousin Jennie
Wooohoo! What's better than playing with fire and being with cousins?...doing it in the desert with motorcycles!
Autnie Brookles and Ragu
Thanks Kelli and Steve for inviting us to the desert with all the fam!
Brock, Regan, Uncle CK, & Aunt Brookelynn
Brock gathered all the kids to make "tunnels" in the sand at he park. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed it more than the kids did. Oh the glory days!

Reagan's new "Big Girl Bed" November 22nd

I was pretty sure that making the big move from crib to bed was going to be a process. As you can see, she is a big fan of the big girl bed. We told her that when the new baby comes she is going to get a new bed and the baby is going to sleep in her crib. We decided to get the bed together sooner and as soon as we were done she looked at her bed and then said, "Mommy, where's the baby?" I about died. I then had to tell her that we decided to get her the bed early, before the baby gets here.

Weee! November 22nd

Reagan and her neighbor friends, Claire and Sierra, have become quite creavtive in turning our courtyard into a playground. Dad gets mad when the girls pick all the flowers and berries to play kitchen and make the trees into swings but I love it. It's so cool to see their creative juices flowing. There's just some things we don't tell dad while he's away at work.

November 19, 2008 Sesame Street Live

Thanks Moops for inviting us to go see Elmo in "real life" with you! It was the BEST!

Bye Taylor! Novemebr 15th 2008

Reagan, cousin Korrin, & cousin Taylor.
We went to a big good-bye party for the Andersons in AV. We'll miss you Taylor. We're sad to see you move to Idaho. The benefits of having a dad with lots of siblings is that Reagan had lots of cousins her age. These are just the ones that are her exact age.

Crazy bath time

Reagan came running out of the bath the other night screaming, "Mommy, mommy look at my horns." It's always a party with dad in charge of bath time.

Yes, it does rain in "sunny California"...

...but only for about 30 minutes. I swear we have winter sometime during the year. I am starting to wonder if we'll have it this year though. It's been sunny and in the 80s and 90s for the past 6 months straight. I don't mind renting forever to be able to live in this wonderland!

Happy Halloween: October 31, 2008

The day started out with some good 'ol pumpkin pancakes. Later that day we met at our house to go to the Halloween Street Fair on Main St. (The Blads, Christensens, Kochs, MacDonalds, Moores, and the Watkins)
Weeee! The princess goes flying down the slide.
Things got crazy crowded but oh so much fun.
The petting zoo was a Ragu favorite.
Daddy and Ragu shots some hoops together.
Then back to our house for some Lou's pumpkin pie and peach pie (of course). Reagan opted for her fav, an ice cream cone!

To top it off we had to play one of Brock's childhood favorite games. As you can see poor Chels didn't quite come out the winner and had to go "fish" out the quarter from the flour. I don't even know if this crazy Apple Valley game has a name.

Trunk-or-Treat HB 7th Ward

On our way to Trunk-or Treat. Reagan's buddy, Sierra, came with us.
Lovin the cake walk. After Reagan's number was called and realized you get a cupcake she played about ten more times.

" Trunk-or-treat, smell my feet."
Whooohoooo! Reagan and her buddy Addi.
Just the girls
Oh so yummy. After a hard night of playing it's nice to just sit and chill with your buddies and enjoy some of the good stuff. Anna Bananna, Reagan and Ikey.
I'm a fairy!
I told Reagan at first she was a princess b/c I forgot that her costume was really a fairy. Now when I say she is a fairy she always corrects me and says, "No mommy. I'm a princess!"
