The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

Hanging out with the Rogers while they are here in town

Paije & Reagan kept doing this over and over...kind of funny!
On our way to swim with my family while they are here staying at Ian's condo

EZ didn't do any swimming today. Poor guy has to just hang out while we swim.

Easton Brock Ebmeyer...the newest member of our family!
You can't get together with the Ebemyers without some good grubbin so we called in a favor from our good friend Aaron Hixon to help us out with his amazing tri-tip bbq recipe. Aaron is always so willing to help, thanks!

Tanaka Farms Filed Trip April 29th

Merridith, Reagan, Luke, & Jordan about to get on the bus.
Reagan was so excited that Daddio was taking her on her field trip. I was even more excited to get a little quiet time to myself with just Easton!
Too bad they are going to think riding the bus isn't cool in a few years.
Farmer Reagan! They got to eat as many strawberries as they wanted. Brock said he ate so many he made himself sick. They also got to pick other veggies and stawberries to bring home for me!!

Making Smores with the Blads (April 10, 2009)

Yum! I think Reagan ate hers faster than Luke. And all who know Luke know that's hard to do.
Reagan got this Dora bouncy thing for her bday. The best $6 I ever spent. The kids love it.

Happy Easter

We had an Easter egg hunt outside on our porch. And yes, it only took 5 minutes since it's only 8x8 feet.
All the Ebmeyer grandkids
I started to cry when I saw them all together like this. Funny story though too...We got to AV like 5 minutes before this pic was taken and for some reason Reagan decided she was going to be shy today and wouldn't get in the pic. If you look in the back left corner Reagan is the 3 year old that's 6 feet tall bc Brock had to hold her up and hide behind cousin Callie. My little Buster Brown. He looks like a little boy in this pic not just a baby.
We took lots of professional family pics this day bc all of Brock's 9 bros and sis were together for the first time in forever. His parents also had their homecoming talk in church.
Easton and Brinley Blad. The Blads ventured up to the High D and spent Easter Apple Valley sytyle. They wanted to get a firsthand look at the humungo strawberry shortcake they had been hearing about for so many years.
Brock getting in his yearly baking. He likes to pretend that he has his dad's skills in the kitchen. I wish he did. I guess you have to actually know how to open the fridge by yourself if you want to be a real baker
Karlyn, Reagan, and Laken Bacon
Bunny Smooch
Ryan Blad, Brock and all the boys were playing "3 flies" I decided to get a mellow pic in the mix instead of incriminating them with the pics where they're flat on their faces.
Reagan got hooked up by the Easter Bunny!
Reagan and Luke probably bounced on the tramp for 5 hours that day.

Reagan's Birthday Celebration at "Mommy & Me" preschool

Reagan's teacher, Ms. Jeanette, makes it so special for the kids. They get to bring in a treat to share with the kids, and no it wasn't Wasa crackers. I made them rice crispy treats. They get to pick out a birthday hat to wear and of course Reagan picked the pink hat. Then she lets them stand on the table and everyone sings to her.
Project time!
Painting eggs with shaving cream and food dye...who knew
My little sweet potatoes!
Reagan with a few of her good buddies, Merredith & Luke, sitting at story time
Let's get our stroll on Luke!Ms. Jeanette surprised the kids with an Easter egg hunt after class. They each got to pick up 4 chocolate eggs. Reagan did the funniest thing. I, of course tried to talk her into only eating one and thought it was a great idea when I said, "Won't it be fun to surprise dad and give him an egg when he gets home from work." I could tell by the look on her face she thought I just said the craziest thing ever. Then in an instant she stood up and ran to the other end of the park with her chocolate eggs and hid behind a tree. I just watched her. When I got over there. She had downed the rest of the eggs and said. "Mommy, daddy doesn't want one." I just started laughing and then she started laughing. I just kissed her little chocolate lips off bc she was just so cute.
