The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

Halloween Activities 2009

On our way downtown with the Blads to meet up with other friends on Main St. for some Halloween fun HB style.
Trick-or treating at all the stores on Main St.

Waiting on the curb after eating at Wahoos. Time to get back to more trick-or treating.
Jack Pot! A cotton machine!! As is we didn't already have enough candy.....bring on the delicious goodness.
Spooooooky!
TRUNK-or Treat!! This is at our ward Halloween party the night before. We passed out bags of cookies we made since we are bakers this year. We made EZ's costume a cookie bc that's all we can bake in our family.....chocolate chippers and babies are our only two specialties.
Reagan and a few of her friends on the back of the Blad's truck. They won the award for the scariest trunk.
Reagan did the cake walk for the first hour we were at the party. This is what she came back with. Did they make that especially for her? The biggest pink, piled with frosting, cupcake I've ever seen. Her absolute favorite treat......but then again I don't think she's ever eaten the cupcake part. She just licks the frosting off.
We won an award for our cookie theme....go Ebs!
FHE pumpkin carving party... Anna walked in with this shirt on so Reagan ran into her room changed and came out with the same one. What cute little twinners.
We tried to get all the kids to line up and this is about as good as we could get.
The final product........wooooooo!
The battle was on for the best pumpkin. Ryan met his match this year. Brock's jack-o-lantern rocked.
The babies at the Lombardi's for their annual Halloween gingerbread making party. This is June bug, EZ, and Brinners.
Reagan was a champ! She won for best kids house! Don't even think about taking a bite unless you want to eat regurgitated frosting. I think she licked ever bit of frosting that went on that house. Yum!

This was the first night we wore our costumes to a party at the Clawson's in our ward. We has so much fun dressing up. I couldn't talk Reagan into joining in on our theme. She had to be a pink princess. I don't blame her. Why would you want to wear all white plain clothes when you could wear pink sparkly princess clothes.

Tanaka Farms

Here we are just waiting for everyone before we take the bus to Tanaka Farms. One of Reagan's favorite things to do at preschool is to play "Mommy". This is so dear to my heart bc I hope that she is able to someday be a mom of her own and experience the pure joy of being able to raise children. Nothing in my life can even hold a candle to the joy they bring to my life.
This picture just cracked Brock and I up. Now there is a girl on a mission. I think she asked me 50 times when the bus was going to get there.
We're finally on the bus!!!
Sophia & Reagan...little farm buddies
Reagan with two of her best buddies Lukey and ZoZo on the hay ride
Reagan with her teacher, Ms. Jeanette
Pumpkin Patch here we come!
Little EZ is zonked out. What a trooper following us where ever we go.
Mommy & Skelator!

Play Group

The magic of snack time. When it's my turn for play group I always save snack time for when they're at the point they're about to rip each other's hair out or I'm about to rip my hair out (the first usually precedes the second). Actually I shouldn't say that bc they truly are little angels. I've loved getting close to Reagan's sweet little friends. They are so dear to our family. I'm lucky to have great friends who are raising such great friends for my kids. I hope we will always live close to them!!

"Ladies Night" has turned into dinner at the park

Well, I guess it has to if we still have the kids. It seems like the boys have a tradition of going to Lou's BBQ after Priesthood Session and the girls have gone out to dinner. This year since most of us now have multiple kids we opted for dinner at the park. Let's take the chaos outside!!This picture is especially cute to me bc I can see my little buster's two bottom "toofers". I thought the second time around I wouldn't get as excited about his "firsts" boy was I ever wrong. I think I get even more excited bc I savor it more. I realize now how fast the baby stage, and every stage for that matter, goes by. Why do they have to grow up?
Brinners and EZ. A match made in heaven....too cute!

Miramar San Diego Air Show

The Kochs, Blads, Ebs, & Christensens at the Miramar Air Show. It really doesn't take much to get us to go down to the Diego to see the Christensens who moved from HB but it was extra fun to be able to show the kids the amazing planes. They loved it.

It was crazy loud so we had to put "ear muffs" on Easton and Regan had fun wearing her ear plugs with her buddies.

My boy is growing up......way too fast!

Picnic with friends

These days it's sometimes a lot easier to just let the kids run around while we eat with friends. When we've felt we've worn out our welcome at some of our favorite restaurants we give them a break and go to the park.
"Mom can you stop taking pictures and feed me!!"

Char Char and Reagan

Reagan was the official swing-ER of the night. I'm glad she enjoys pushing everyone else now bc my arm was about to fall off every time we went to the park. For some reason she never got bored with the swings and I'd have to push for what seemed like an hour.

Happy Birthday Brock!!!

Brock's only request this year was to go to one of his favorite restaurants, North Woods Inn, I thought he was doing me a favor when we stopped going to "The Sizz" but I had no idea what I was getting myself into...when you walk in you are welcomed by floors full of sawdust. I tell you there is something in the water in Apple Valley that somehow makes you fall in love with the craziest things.

Grandma was teaching Reagan how to play London Bridges. Grandma is chuck full of all those great songs and games. Thanks for teaching Reagan all the classics that I've forgotten about.
I invited the whole Ebmeyer crew to surprise Brock and join us for one of their family favorites but at least a few could make it!! I know the others would have made it if they didn't have so much going on...they're good like that! Thanks G&G Newman and Hugh and Sharon for making my boy's day (and your's) a special one.
Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you!
