The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

Super Bowl 2010

Unfortunately for Luke & EZ, Manning couldn't pull it off this year
Reagan wanted a picture with her in too.
A little half time break for a story
Daddy finally has a football buddy!

Easton's new favorite thing.....fresh breath!

Well, not really the fresh breath part but I've never seen a kid so excited to brush his teeth. Any time we leave the bathroom door open we're sure to find Easton up on the stool having grabbed his brush and scrubbing away at his teeth. Don't even try to pry that brush out of his hands.

Has the world come to an end?

Love my husband and all but when I walked in from the bedroom and saw my husband out in the kitchen making his own sandwich I had to take a picture. And it's not bc he asked me to make him one and I didn't. He didn't even ask me if I'd make it for him first. That was the biggest shocker of the whole thing. I think this is probably the third time in the seven years we've been married that Brock has made himself some food. I swear the guy would rather go hungry than have to make his own meal. People always wonder why he's so thin. Well, there you go. The secret is out.

Who knew you could play in the rain?!

Thank goodness for dads! I like to consider myself an active, fun mom but when it comes to crazy weather (I know it's only rain....I guess that's why I live in So Cal) I leave that fun stuff up to dad. Fortunately Brock lives for playing like a kid too.

Meena, Bapa, & Paije came to town for EZ's 1st birthday!

Reagan & Paije playing on the bunk beds at the condo

Waiting for breakfast at Sugar Shack

Happy 1st Birthday EZ!!!!

I know it's a happy day but I think I'm gonna cry. I can't believe my baby boy is already 1!
Meena taking EZ for a slide

Daddy and Buster

Happy Birthday to YOU!
I though he'd love having his first cupcake but I couldn't get him to eat it. It's okay though bc Reagan was happy to eat his too!
Easton is a lucky boy. He is lucky to have close to 15 or so friends just in our ward alone.
Luke is usually the champ when it comes to eating the most and the fastest but Jude gave him a run for his money this year!
Caden and Easton on the slide.
Time for presents. Reagan told me before the party that she'd open all the presents since EZ is still learning.

Happy birthday to the sweetest most wonderful boy I've ever known. We love you Buster! Thanks for being in our family!

Just another fun day being a kid...

I'm lucky to have lots of fun mom friends that are always up for something fun to do with the kids. Today we got a few of us together and took the kids to the reptile "zoo". The kids love it bc they get to feed the turtles.

After the zoo we headed off to the park for a picnic and playing time.

This is now the second time we've done curlers. This time we were smarter about it and put them in the night before so they'd actually stay in for all of church. My plan is to do a before and after pic but I always seem to forget the after pic. And the after is the best part, not because Reagan gets her great curls but it's more bc of how she acts with them in. When she gets to church she holds her head up extra high and kind of sways her head like she's all fancy. It's hilarious. Both times we've done them for church just by chance we've sat in front of her nursery teachers. They are always so nice to comment on her hair and compliment her but even before they get the chance to say anything Reagan sways her head and says, "Look I have curls! But you can't touch bc they'll fall out" It's so funny how girly she is.

Bath Time!

It's official! Reagan is now a sunbeam.

My best girl's first day in primary

Reagan is really enjoying having Daddy home for "Christmas vacation"

Horsey is always a favorite
Brock & Reagan got this trailer for Christmas and I can't get them off of it.
Every morning Reagan wakes up and goes straight to her tent to watch Sesame Street.

Off to the movies

Daddy surprised us and took us to the movies to see Princess and the Frog.
Thanks Daddy for our special date!

....later that day

After everyone opens their Christmas presents we all meet back at grandma's house for a Blinkinduffies breakfast. Later that evening we get together for dinner at a family friends restaurant and eat some more of course. Reagan, Laken, & Corrin
Laken & Reagan
Here we all are just waiting for dinner to be served.
The kids love having the restaurant all to our selves and getting their own fountain drinks.
Let's Eat!
EZ & Gavin
My favorite part of the night is the white elephant gift exchange game. Inevitably there are tears every year. Unfortunately this year they were Reagan's. Those kids just can't grasp the idea that someone can come take their present away. Brock and I have fun working a way to get all the best gifts.
EZ and cousin Cody. They kind of look a like too. Maybe it's the new Christmas haircuts.

Easton's 1st haircut

I don't know why Christmas day became haircut day but his locks had to go. I tried to just give him a trim but of course he wouldn't sit still. So out came the clippers. He looked so cute but I was so sad to see his first little hairs gone.
As always he did great. No tears.

Merry Christmas

Easton's 1st Christmas. Merry Christmas Buster!
Yea! Santa did come!
"Look mom." "Santa ate the cookies!"
Time for stockings
Reagan checking out the new tent
Lap, and great G & G Newman
He did bring it! Reagan asked Santa to bring her sparkley tights, sparkely shoes, & a sparkley dress. She found it hanging on the back of the tree.
What a beautiful princess
Me and my babies

Brock got this great truck for EZ with all these great contraptions! He loves it but I think Brock played with it more Christmas morning than EZ did.
Here we in our Christmas PJs
Reagan saw these sitting on the table put them on and said, "Do I look like Grandpa?"
