The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

New Years Eve December 31st 2012

We started the night with Reagan's princess jewelry game and they just love seeing their dad with all the jewelry on and making fun of him while he tells them they better not tell his friends that he's wearing all this jewelry and they squeal with delight bc they tell him that they ARE going to tell all his friend.

To be honest, New Years is usually pretty much looked over in our house. It's me just wishing I can hurry up and get in bed. But we do like to play a few games with the kids and one that has become a tradition in our house, stemming from Brock's childhood is the penny in the flour game. The kids think it is the greatest game ever and I just cringe as I see the flour fly all over the kitchen and think of the mess I'm gonna have to clean up off the floor when they are done. I'm so Debby Downer, I know, but I'll glady do it just to see the joy it brings to my little sweet potatoes!!

Daddy is taking all the kids up to bed on his back.....this is so gonna end with someone dying on the stairs.

The traditional competitive white elephant gift game we look forward to every year!

For Christmas this year I gave Brock tickets to the BYU bowl game in San Diego. I also had a few of my girlfriends give their husbands the same gift so the boys could all go together. Surprise!
Brock and I took a trip to Vegas right after Christmas and the kids stayed with grandma. A last "hurrah" before the twins come. Here I am with one of my best college buds, Roach who lives there. Below we are at a private Billy Joel concert she gave us tickets to. We met The Blads, Kochs, and Ohlson's there too and had a great weekend. The original plan was to got to The Killer's concert but since I was due next month with the twins and it was a standing only concert I didn't think my belly or swollen feet could handle the mosh pits. Since being pregnant, my new bed time has been about 8:30. When all our friends got back from the concert at 3am I knew I made the right decision.

When we got home the next day Reagan and Easton were surprised to see that Santa left them a special gift at home!!
