The Ebmeyer Family

The Ebmeyer Family
Hi. We're the Ebmeyers. We love to swim, swing at the park, go for walks, ride our bikes, play at the beach, read books, dance, and really just be together. The only thing better than this is sharing it with friends. In the words of Jack Johnson, "It's always better when we're together".

May 3, 2014 Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversario to the best husband EVER!

Daddy got a new pair of shoes he had been eyeing!

Crazy that 11 years has gone by. Sweet Brock surprised me with a night out. I wasn't really expecting it bc that would be our 3rd babysitter in less than 12 hours....crazy busy!  I know I should feel bad leaving my kids again but truthfully I was so excited to be with my hubby. He took me to my favorite, sushi and then we went and got massages. He knows the way to my heart!! I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful husband who loves me so unconditionally. He makes me smile and laugh every day. He is such a joy to be with and makes life so much fun. I am so blessed to call him mine!! I LOVE you Brock!!

April 2014 Swimming

The babies couldn't get enough of it! Such a fun day swimming. We swam for most of the afternoon and on into the night. Brock picked up some dinner across the street...too nice of a night to eat in.

Easter 2014

I don't know what it is about this picture but I just want to reach right in and smooch this girl up!!

Waiting to get the "green light" before they can run down to find their baskets and then go hunt for their eggs and goodies!
We're Ready!
They found their baskets waiting for them at the bottom of the stairs.

Ez found a dollar bill in one of his eggs. He's pretty excited!
 Too many treats to hold!

Finally....a bowl of cinnamon toast crunch cereal. Now she doesn't have to have our neighbor friend, Ian, sneak her any from his house.
EZ found some socks for him up in the tree....that crazy bunny!

Wait for me!

She's officially a big girl, ears pierced now AND a curling iron.

You know the Easter Bunny loves you when you have to take off your bike basket so you can make room for more eggs and treats! Reagan wouldn't let a small basket get in the way of filling up with goodies...that's my girl!
Time to go through the loot and count up how much they made from their money eggs.

Time for some Easter crepes for breakfast!

 Now time for church

As if we haven't already had enough Easter fun...why not do it all over again and head to Apple Valley to see if the Easter Bunny comes to grandma's house too!

We were lucky to have our buddies the Blads come join us in "God's Country" (as only Brock would say).

 A little tether ball action.

 Go daddy!
Of course she's climbing a tree!
 Wazzup wazzup wazzup?!
Brock is telling stories with some of the kids while grandma is checking to see if the Easter Bunny came! "Can we go yet?!"

Finally! It's go time!
And they're off!

 Scout's basket
 Harper and Scout's baskets.

 Our buds, the Blads
This was such a cute idea that Grandma did with the grand kids. So the day before she invited all the cousins over to dye Easter Eggs and she also did this: She had them "plant" jelly beans into the ground and water them and told them the next day something special would grow. Well it worked. Up popped lollipops!

Reagan and Brin. How cute are they!?

Don't mind me, I'm just eating flower petals.
What a handsome Daddy! That's one lucky woman who gets that guy!!
Because everyone knows every Easter isn't complete without a pinata. As if we needed more excuses to introduce even more candy into the holiday. Leave it to the Ebs:)!

Harper and Scout finally woke up from their naps just in time to see what the Bunny brought them!

The traditional strawberry cake
This year when Tyson cut the cake he did it so hard that the frosting went flying on to all the "oldies" in the front row. It was kinda funny.
